Job summary

Hunter Engineering Company in Raymond, MS is seeking a Continuous Improvement Co-Op for Spring 2027 (Jan 2027 – May 2027) to support lean initiatives and production efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the Kanban system, participate in Kaizen events, lead 6S activities, and map value streams to identify future improvements.

Strong problem-solving and Microsoft Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5 GPA (must be on resume).
• Major study in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; hands-on tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Improve Kanban System to achieve more consistent production rates.
• Participate in Kaizen Events to reduce inefficiencies and improve morale.
• Lead 6S organizational events to help organize work areas.
• Participate in Value Stream Mapping Events to identify future improvements.
