Job summary

Brooks Automation US LLC is seeking a Continuous Improvement Analyst to lead cost, quality, and schedule optimization across manufacturing sites. You will assess CI plans, set KPI-aligned goals, and drive initiative selection, scoping, launches, and tracking while coaching teams in CI methodologies.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in fast-paced manufacturing, strong Lean, 5S, and data analysis skills, plus CAD/ERP familiarity and a bias for action in a regulated production environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives that improve Safety, Quality, and Output metrics.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing performance metrics such as OEE, First Pass Yield, cycle time, throughput, inventory accuracy, and capacity utilization.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent Continuous Improvement Certification (preferred).
  • Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority through collaboration, data, and relationship building.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Continuous Improvement Analyst Job Description
What You’ll Do
  • Lead projects that optimize cost, quality, and schedule requirements within Brooks Manufacturing sites.

Key Deliverables
  • Measurable reduction in production cycle times.
  • Decreased waste using the 7 methods of waste in Lean.
  • Increased visibility into KPIs.
  • Improvement in 3 key categories in manufacturing—Safety, Quality, and Output.
  • Additional qualitative outcomes such as increased organization, identification of issues for longer‑term projects, and coaching/training technicians.
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience in a fast‑paced assembly environment.
  • Experience implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives that improve Safety, Quality, and Output metrics.
  • Working knowledge of Lean methodologies, including 5S and waste elimination.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Engineering related Degree (preferred).
  • Experience with Power Automate (preferred).
  • Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent) to support facility layouts, workstation optimization, tooling design, and process improvement initiatives (preferred).
  • Experience within semiconductor, automation, high‑tech manufacturing, or other regulated production environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing performance metrics, including OEE, First Pass Yield, cycle time, throughput, inventory accuracy, and capacity utilization (preferred).
  • Exposure to process automation, digital transformation, or Industry 4.0 initiatives (preferred).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent Continuous Improvement Certification (preferred).
  • Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority through collaboration, data, and relationship building.

Compensation Base Salary Range: $57,494.85 USD to $77,787.15 USD. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
