Topics could include, and are not limited to: technology (coding, robotics, drones, etc.), biological sciences, environmental sciences, and engineering. Instructors introduce students to STEM concepts in a safe, supportive, and interactive environment. Responsibilities include leading activities from the curriculum, supervising participants, promoting student engagement, and creating a positive learning experience.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Teaching experience (children and teens)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to deliver engaging and practical course content from a provided curriculumPassion for teaching and a commitment to helping others achieve personal growth and enrichmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of technology (coding, robotics, drones, etc.), biological sciences, environmental sciences, and/or an area of engineeringThis position will have opportunities for teaching assignments throughout the year.
