Job description

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Drone Repair Technician with extensive hands‑on experience in diagnosing and repairing consumer and professional drones (DJI, Autel, Parrot, Skydio, and more). This role is for a technician who thrives on tackling complex board‑level, mechanical, and calibration challenges that go far beyond basic part swaps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on drones, including gimbal assemblies, camera modules, motors, flight controllers, GPS systems, and power circuits.

  • Handle micro‑soldering and board‑level repairs (ESCs, connectors, sensors, ICs).

  • Calibrate flight systems, gimbals, and sensors for precise operation.

  • Repair or replace drone frames, arms, and other structural components.

  • Stay current with firmware updates, flight software, and manufacturer repair protocols.

  • Mentor junior technicians and establish repair best practices.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of drone repair experience with strong expertise in both consumer and professional UAVs.

  • Proficiency in micro‑soldering, PCB diagnostics, and electrical schematics.

  • Skilled with drone software tools, calibration equipment, and flight diagnostics.

  • Experience troubleshooting crash damage, water damage, and advanced electronic failures.

  • Detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and able to deliver repairs that meet or exceed manufacturer standards.
