Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine team. In this part-time role, you will perform high-risk OB ultrasound examinations, provide direct patient care, and ensure timely access to quality services.

You will produce diagnostic images, review history, and communicate results to the physician, while maintaining equipment and supporting a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• CPR certification with 6 months of hire; ARDMS in appropriate specialties.
• Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Imaging certification; CLEAR certification.

Responsibilities

• Produces and records high quality sonographic images.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine team. In this role, you will perform a variety of high-risk OB ultrasound examinations and procedures. Provides direct patient care that ensures efficient access to safe, quality and compassionate care, in an environment that is welcoming to patients and their families.

What You’ll Do:

• Produces and records high quality sonographic images.
• Interpret patient history for hi-risk OB patients
• Positions patients for sonographic examination.
• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
• Communicates the results to the diagnosing physician.
• Performs basic fetal cardiac views as well as extended cardia views
• Often performs a detailed evaluation of fetal anatomy in the second trimester.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and work area.

What We’re Looking For:

• EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Valid CPR certification. Mus attain within 6 months of hire: Valid, unrestricted certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty(ies) as appropriate, Valid, unrestricted accreditation in Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Imaging, and Valid, unrestricted C.L.E.A.R. certification.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years experience, or equivalent experience and education.
