Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II to review orders, prepare patients, and perform ultrasound exams to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. You will work with Ultrasound leadership and Radiologists, with opportunities to assist US-guided procedures.
The role emphasizes independent judgment, patient interaction, and collaboration across campuses. Rotation of shifts, weekends, and holidays is expected as needed.

The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II is responsible to review the Physician Order and reason for exam and prepare the patient for the exam/procedure. The Sonographer performs a variety of specialized medical ultrasound examinations/procedures to obtain high quality images for diagnostic interpretation and may also assist the physician with US-guided procedures. Sonographers work closely with the Ultrasound leadership and the Radiologists. The Sonographer performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with integrity and initiative.
