Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team in Southeast Michigan. You will support licensed PTs by delivering hands-on therapy, guided activities, and individualized treatment plans for children.

Qualifications include a two-year PTA degree and Michigan PTA licensure. This contingent, clinic-based role covers multiple locations with a focus on mobility, balance, and family education.

Responsibilities

• Support children in reaching developmental milestones and improving mobility.
• Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to deliver individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapeutic exercises and play-based activities that enhance coordination, balance, and function.
• Promote family involvement by educating caregivers on at-home techniques and progress.
• Track and communicate patient progress, contributing to refinement of treatment plans and goals.
• Adapt equipment and activities to maximize child engagement and independence during therapy.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized therapy space.
