• One year of specialized experience in war-planner logistics related to USCENTCOM.
• Evaluates operations plans and assesses missions.
• Advises senior officials on DLA Energy support issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a DLA Energy Liaison Officer (LNO)/Contingency Planner between the Commander, DLA Energy and the Commander, USCENTCOM, Logistics Directorate.
• Provide expert guidance to develop operational and contingency plans for theater-wide bulk petroleum support.
• Develop and publish annually a Bulk Petroleum Logistics Support Plan for USCENTCOM AOR.
• Advise on bulk petroleum logistics planning in support of war planning and contingency execution.
• Resolve shortfalls and conditions impacting wartime logistics support.
• Analyze exercises to revise DLA Energy doctrine and plans.
