Job summary

SERVPRO Industries, Inc. is seeking a Contents Supervisor to lead contents crews in the field. You will run pack-outs on site, direct a crew of technicians, and ensure inventory and handling of customer belongings is accurate and safe. This is a working supervisor role, not desk-bound.

You will train and develop technicians, maintain chain of custody, and report status to the Contents Manager, with a focus on customer service and safety on varied properties.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a field crew in restoration or moving.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift and move items safely.
• Careful, methodical approach to inventory and documentation.
• Customer-service oriented on-site communications.

Responsibilities

About the Role

SERVPRO is looking for a Contents Supervisor to lead contents crews in the field.

You would run pack-outs on site, direct a crew of technicians, and be responsible for the inventory being right and the customer's belongings being handled properly. It is a working supervisor role, on the job rather than behind a desk.

What You Would Do

• Lead a crew of Contents Technicians on pack-outs, cleaning, and returns.
• Perform and direct inventory, photographing and documenting items accurately.
• Maintain chain of custody from the property to the warehouse and back.
• Pack, handle, and transport customer belongings safely.
• Communicate respectfully with customers about their property on site.
• Ensure job site safety practices are followed by the crew.
• Train and develop technicians on the crew.
• Report job status and issues to the Contents Manager.

Who We Are Looking For

• Contents, moving, warehouse, or restoration field experience.
• Time spent leading or directing others.
• Careful, methodical approach to inventory and documentation.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move items safely throughout the day.
• Someone who treats other people’s belongings the way they would want their own treated.
