Job summary

BELFOR Spokane Valley, WA is seeking an entry-level Contents Specialist to provide operational support in client contents remediation. You will perform dry and wet mitigation, manipulate contents on site, and help prepare items for transport and storage under supervision.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, customer service, and the ability to follow directions from the Team Leader. You may work nights and weekends and travel periodically as required by project needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to take direction from Team Leader.
• Perform Dry and Wet mitigation/pre-cleaning using BELFOR procedures.
• Manipulate contents on client site to allow remediation.
• Inventory contents under supervision.
• Wrap and package contents to prevent damage during transport.
• Transport contents to cleaning facility for cleaning and storage.
• Adhere to MSDS standards.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition.
• Meet BELFOR standards in safeguarding other people's property.
• Understand customer service principles and practices.
• Work under time constraints to meet timelines.
• Will work nights and weekends as required and travel periodically.
• Report time worked and equipment usage timely and accurately.
• Attend BELFOR safety training courses as required.

This position has a pay range of $18 to $22 an hour.

Position Overview

This position is responsible to provide operational support in remediation efforts for client contents. Qualified candidates must possess ability to perform tasks related to contents cleaning, deodorizing, manipulation and storage and will be required to use a variety of specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals under supervision. This position is the level 1 in the Progressive Contents Specialist track. After completing BELFOR required training for all new hires, this position will move to Contents Specialist -- Basic Category.
