Job summary

SP Global DRT in Soperton, GA, is seeking a Contents Restoration Technician to perform pack-out, cleaning, inventory, storage, and pack-back of customer belongings, ensuring careful handling and accurate documentation. You will follow SERVPRO processes per work order, work in teams, maintain supplies and equipment, and report safety hazards.

Requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and willingness to travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous contents, cleaning, or restoration experience preferred.
• IICRC certifications a plus.
• Must be able to work in person and travel to job sites; weekend and on-call rotation.
• Background check as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Complete jobs according to SERVPRO processes per work order, performing production work and completing job documentation.
• Perform pack-out, inventory, cleaning, storage, and pack-back of customer belongings.
• Carefully handle, label, photograph, and document customer contents to prevent loss or damage.
• Clean and restore contents using approved methods, products, and specialty equipment.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and supplies for each project.
• Prepare rooms and areas for work activities; set up staging areas and equipment for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, jobsite findings, and equipment/tool requirements to supervisors.
• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Work as a team to provide quality and efficient work and perform production processes as directed.
• Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving the jobsite clean and orderly.
• Resolve problems quickly as they arise and provide courteous, professional customer service.
• Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas.
• Learn and develop restoration/contents skills to elevate the SERVPRO brand and grow within the company.

Job Description

The Contents Technician performs the pack-out, cleaning, inventory, storage, and pack-back of customer belongings, ensuring careful handling, accurate documentation, and quality results.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Previous contents, cleaning, or restoration experience preferred.
• IICRC certifications a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must be able to work in person and travel to job sites as needed. Available for weekend and after-hours on-call rotation.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and able to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying of objects throughout the day.
• Walking and standing for long periods, as well as driving, sitting, and climbing.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
• Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces under buildings and attics).
• Exposure to chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise.
• Occasional exposure to extreme conditions such as heat, cold, and noxious odors.
• Required to occasionally wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform demanding tasks throughout the day.

Job Type

• Full- Time, up to 40 hours per week.
• On- Call

Salary

$12-$15 / hour, pending experience.
