Job summary

Apex DKI is seeking a Contents Technician to inventory, pad, protect, and transport belongings from residence to truck to storage. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and respectful handling of homeowners' possessions during disaster restoration.

Responsibilities include detailed item inventory with modern software, packing to industry standards, and assisting in loading/unloading into trucks. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and pass background checks; travel and early starts

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• No felony convictions

Responsibilities

• Taking detailed inventory of belongings using the latest technology and software
• Pack contents to meet industry standards
• Treating every item with respect and care
• Treating homeowners with empathy and professionalism
• Be a loyal, collaborative team member
• Work quickly to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Handle early mornings (5:15am) and long days in varying weather
• Travel and overnight stays may be required with per diem
• Lift up to 75 pounds independently or with a team
• Use hand tools and disassemble/reassemble basic furniture
• Install Encircle app on phone
