Job summary

gpac is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee contents operations, including pack-outs and inventories, and to supervise crews on-site. You will ensure trucks are loaded properly, conduct on-site inspections, and manage supply estimates for each job.

The role emphasizes organized leadership, enforcing procedures, and minimizing losses while coordinating with insurance-related processes. Previous experience in contents restoration and driving a box truck are a plus.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in contents operations and inventory control.
• Ability to manage teams, including younger or less experienced employees.
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong accountability and follow-through.
• Capable of creating and enforcing processes and procedures.
• Comfortable in field management while directing overall operations.
• Familiarity with insurance claims and contents restoration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee contents operations, including pack-outs and inventories.
• Supervise employees and ensure trucks are loaded properly.
• Conduct on-site inspections of contents jobs.
• Estimate supplies and boxes needed for each job to ensure proper preparation.
• Schedule jobs and coordinate crews.
• Manage inventory and track contents throughout the process.
• Implement policies and procedures and ensure employees follow them.
• Help minimize lost, stolen, or damaged items and customer complaints.
• Understand insurance policies and contents-related claims.
• Request additional time from insurance carriers when needed.
• Assist with closing jobs and converting assignments into completed work.
