Job summary

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of Austin is seeking a full-time Contents Mover to support remediation efforts for client contents. You will perform packouts, content manipulation, storage, and related duties to meet our quality standards.

Strong customer service, reliability, and safety awareness are essential. The role involves loading items, maintaining equipment, wrapping contents for transport, and coordinating transport to cleaning facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mover preferred.
• Must be able to identify product (consumables), usage, and disposal requirements with training
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per policy
• Sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices

Responsibilities

• Moving and loading boxes and large items from customer locations and our warehouse
• Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks
• Manipulate contents at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasks
• Correctly wrap and package contents to prevent damage during transport
• Transport contents to cleaning facility for cleaning and storage
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices
