Job summary

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz is seeking a dedicated Contents Mover in Austin, TX to support our restoration services. The role focuses on moving, packing, and storing client contents, while maintaining safety and equipment readiness.

You will assist remediation crews and ensure contents are protected during transport to the cleaning facility and storage areas. The position offers full-time hours with a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, along with a team-oriented environment that

Qualifications

• Experience as a mover is preferred.
• Must be able to identify product (consumables), usage, and disposal requirements with training.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz’s vehicle policy.
• Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Moving and loading boxes and large items from customer locations and our warehouse.
• Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks.
• Manipulate contents at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasks.
• Correctly wrap and package contents to prevent damage during transport.
• Transport contents to cleaning facility for cleaning and storage.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition.
