Job Description

As part of our client’s developer education initiative, your primary responsibility as a content writer will be to collate primary and secondary research on building and growing audiences in games and entertainment apps in the VR ecosystem. You then work with a cross functional group of stakeholders to publish that content on the Developer Center. The content will be focused on games and apps as a service, including free to play games, premium apps with add-on content, as well as subscription focused entertainment and fitness applications.

The content writer will be tasked to create content with a compelling and cohesive narrative aimed at our developer ecosystem. They will also be working with many stakeholders to get the content approved and published on our platform.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for key aspects of our operations and contribute to our continued success.

Required Skills

• A good understanding of the digital app industry
• Ability to communicate effectively, especially in a cross functional setting with internal and external industry experts
• Interest and some proficiency in free-to-play games, with an interest in game design or product management functions
• Able to critically think about games

Required Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in game design, product management or production roles within the games or entertainment industry
• experience in free to play games or subscription apps is highly desired
• Open to low experience-level candidates with a short history in the games industry.
