Job Description

General Description: The Content Tutor: Physical Therapy Assistant cooperatively assist students with various healthcare subjects including but not limited to math, sciences, and writing (as feasible) through instruction and implementing study skills.

  • Provide tutoring assistance to students as needed
  • Assist ASC Manager in forming specialized study groups as need arises
  • Assign software programs to assist students in various academic programs
  • Distribute information leading to academic improvement
  • Consult with faculty regarding center’s resources
  • Research current list of useful Internet resources for student and faculty use
  • Work closely with Tutoring Services Coordinator, academic discipline faculty and staff, and Student Services faculty and staff to provide optimal services to students
  • Provide tutoring services orientation for any willing faculty member

Special Assignments | May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
