Interactive Strategies, a DC-based nonprofit-focused digital agency, is seeking a Content Strategy Specialist (Operations) to organize complex websites, plan content, and drive migrations across CMS platforms. You’ll work with strategists, designers, developers, and clients to keep projects on track and deliver structured content ecosystems.
You’ll contribute to content planning, audits, workflows, and QA, with a focus on information architecture, UX writing, accessibility, and SEO best
As the Content Strategy Specialist (Operations) at Interactive Strategies, you’ll help shape digital experiences for organizations doing meaningful, high-impact work. We partner with leading nonprofits, associations, and B2B organizations to solve complex problems through smart strategy, thoughtful content, and strong digital experiences.
We’re a people-first, award-winning digital agency where good ideas matter, great execution is expected, and we have a lot of fun along the way. This role often involves balancing multiple client projects with competing deadlines, so success requires strong organization, adaptability, and comfort working independently. If you’re excited to work with nationally recognized organizations and you enjoy untangling complex websites, organizing large amounts of information, and bringing clarity to messy content ecosystems, you’ll thrive in this role.
While you’ll have opportunities to write and edit, writing isn’t the primary focus of this position. Instead, you’ll bring our content strategies to life through content planning, audits, workflows, migrations, CMS implementation, and QA. You’ll help keep complex projects organized, accurate, and moving forward, ensuring our strategists, designers, developers, and clients have the information and structure they need to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
Because you’ll work across the full website development process, this role also offers a strong foundation for growing your digital content career. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced content strategists and gain exposure to content strategy, UX, SEO, accessibility, client consulting, complex project management, and website planning.
