The role requires strong writing/editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced professional services environment. Base salary ranges from $110,000 to $125,000.

Qualifications

  • Exemplary writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to translate complex information into accessible copy for various audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience at a law firm or professional services firm preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling, on-brand copy for a variety of audiences.
  • Edit announcements of the firm’s work for internal and external distribution in a fast-paced daily review.
  • Proofread content to ensure adherence to firm style and editorial guidelines.
  • Draft, edit and revise content across the firm’s public website, including practice pages and bios.
  • Help implement website updates to align with GEO best practices.
  • Assist in regular refreshes of firm brochures and other printed collateral.
  • Track changes to clients’ marketing restrictions and audit materials for compliance.

Visit davispolk.com.**Position Summary**As a member of the PR & Communications team, the Content Specialist will be a key contributor to the firm’s website and marketing materials, ensuring that the firm’s digital presence clearly and consistently reflects its priorities, expertise and institutional voice**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Create compelling, on-brand copy for a variety of audiences* Edit announcements of the firm’s work for internal and external distribution in a fast-paced daily review process with Business Development colleagues* Proofread various content to ensure adherence to firm style and editorial guidelines* Draft, edit and revise content across the firm’s public website, including practice pages and lawyer bios* Help implement website updates to align with GEO best practices* Assist in regular refreshes of firm brochures and other printed collateral* Track changes to clients’ marketing restrictions and perform audits of the website and marketing materials to ensure compliance* Other projects as needed**Qualifications/Position Requirements*** Exemplary writing, editing and proofreading skills* Ability to understand complex information and translate it into accessible copy for a variety of audiences* Excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail* Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines* Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams**Education and/or Experience*** At least 3-5 years of writing or content marketing experience* Experience at a law firm or other professional services firm, or as a legal or business journalist preferred* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field**Compensation**The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 - $125,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
