We're seeking a Content Programming Specialist who combines exceptional attention to detail with a genuine passion for film, cinema, and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about film genres, notable filmmakers, cinema history, awards, and industry trends, and is excited by the opportunity to help audiences discover meaningful content through thoughtful curation and merchandising.
In this role, you will support the presentation, organization, and discoverability of content across the Kanopy platform. Success in this position requires curiosity about audience viewing habits, an interest in content performance and engagement data, and familiarity with film resources such as IMDb, Letterboxd, Rotten Tomatoes, film festivals, and industry publications. You will help ensure that films are accurately represented, strategically merchandised, and positioned to reach the audiences most likely to engage with them.
