Job summary

St. Ignatius Church in Baltimore seeks a Content Producer to oversee livestream and broadcast production and to lead digital content development for the parish website, The Catholic Mass. You will collaborate with clergy to ensure accuracy and Jesuitical alignment, and mentor a volunteer media team.

The role blends technical production, storytelling, and faith-centered outreach to inspire and educate Catholic and Jesuit audiences worldwide, with weekend work and event coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in live video production and digital content creation.
• Proficiency with YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Vimeo and production software (OBS, vMix, Wirecast).
• Strong understanding of social media trends and analytics tools.
• Experience recruiting, training, and leading volunteers or teams.
• Knowledge of Catholic liturgy and Jesuit spirituality is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holy days, and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, produce, and direct live Mass broadcasts and parish events.
• Manage camera, audio, lighting, and streaming workflows to ensure quality broadcasts.
• Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer media team members.
• Create and curate digital content for the website and social channels.
• Develop and implement digital media strategies and measure engagement.
