Job summary

Amazon's Cross Channel Marketing (XCM) team is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to own the systems behind our content platforms in a demanding AWS-backed environment in New York. You will automate operations, enforce security, and shape the storage and compute strategy for scalable marketing workflows.

Responsibilities include managing the AWS estate, implementing lifecycle policies, and coordinating with internal security, identity, and partner teams to ensure robust, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SRE, systems engineering, or related experience.
• Experience using AWS services.
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and automation.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
• Experience with cloud hosting technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Direct ownership over live production cloud environment including storage, lifecycle, and compute.
• Experience supporting marketing or media teams and their system needs.

Responsibilities

• Manages the AWS environment behind our content platforms and evolves it with new workloads and integrations.
• Designs storage tiering and lifecycle policy across petabyte-scale content and multiple systems.
• Owns high-performance shared storage, backup, and archive across creative production and digital asset management.
• Automates administration to scale the environment without manual work.
• Maintains identity, access, and security compliance across the third‑party platform estate, including single sign‑on and credential lifecycle.
• Establishes operational standards with ownership records, monitoring, alerting, and support processes.
• Builds and secures infrastructure for new integrations and AI/third‑party services.
• Represents content platform systems to other XCM teams, partners, and providers.
