Qualifications

# Content Modernization AuthorApply**Job#: 3052625****Job Description:**Content Modernization Author**Location:** Remote (U.S)Role OverviewThe Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) team is responsible for improving the quality, consistency, and usability of enterprise knowledge content. This position will support the enterprise-wide transformation of knowledge assets, ensuring content is standardized, searchable, structured, and optimized for future AI-enabled knowledge experiences. The role involves partnering with business units, subject matter experts (SMEs), and content owners to review, revise, and modernize existing content.Key Responsibilities* Review, analyze, and modernize existing procedural, policy, reference, and knowledge content in accordance with EKM standards.* Rewrite and restructure content using approved AI-enabled technologies, templates, content models, and style guides.* Collaborate with business unit SMEs and content owners to validate content accuracy, completeness, and business intent.* Ensure content adheres to plain-language and user-centered design principles to improve findability and comprehension.* Apply metadata, tagging, and classification to support enterprise search and AI-readiness initiatives.* Participate in content inventories, audits, and gap analyses to identify outdated or redundant information.* Align content with established migration requirements and prepare knowledge assets for platform migration.* Support testing, validation, and issue remediation activities associated with content modernization.* Track content modernization progress and maintain status reporting for assigned business units.Required Qualifications**Education:** A Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Technical Writing, Knowledge Management, Business, Education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.**Experience:** Experience creating, editing, or managing business, operational, instructional, procedural, or knowledge-based content.
