Job summary

Buildout is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to shape our content strategy across the CRE buyer journey. You’ll combine strong writing with creative instincts, choosing formats and visuals, and leveraging AI to accelerate output while maintaining editorial quality.

You’ll collaborate with product marketing, demand gen, sales, and leadership to build awareness, trust, and pipeline. This fully remote role supports candidates across the US.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in B2B content marketing, editorial, or related role.
• Excellent writer/editor who clarifies complex subjects.
• Experience creating content for a defined B2B audience/ICP.
• Comfort interviewing customers, executives, and experts.
• Working knowledge of SEO and modern discovery.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI in workflows.
• Able to create basic visual assets independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a content strategy aligned to priorities and revenue goals.
• Identify high-value topics from insights and trends.
• Manage the editorial roadmap across channels and buyer stages.
• Write/edit content across formats: thought leadership, stories, email, social, webinars, and more.
• Determine formats and creative treatments for ideas.
• Create lightweight visuals with Canva/Figma/Adobe; partner for larger projects.
• Use AI throughout research, ideation, drafting, and distribution.
• Develop repeatable AI-assisted workflows to improve velocity and quality.
• Experiment with AI tools and apply editorial judgment to differentiate.
• Make content discoverable with SEO and growth collaboration.
• Connect content to campaigns, pipeline, and sales enablement.
• Measure performance across engagement, traffic, and conversions.
