Job description

About this position

About Todyl

At Todyl, we are on a mission to protect small and medium-sized businesses from ever-changing cyber threats. The Todyl platform fully integrates threat, risk, and compliance management to provide exceptional and affordable unified cybersecurity solutions to MSPs (Managed Service Providers) and their end customers.

At the end of the day, we're here to keep our partners and customers safe and help them manage the risks and comply with regulations. Protecting others requires a team that works together with trust and cares deeply about carrying out our mission.

The role

Todyl is hiring a Content Marketing Manager to own our content program and support and engage MSP partners and IT security buyers. This is an individual-contributor role. You’ll set the content strategy and carry it out yourself. You’ll work closely with product marketing, demand generation, sales, customer success, design, and our MXDR and threat research teams to turn content into engagement and pipeline.

What motivates you

  • You care about the sentence. You edit your own drafts hard, and you can tell when a headline is lazy. You know security buyers can spot vague claims and filler right away.

  • You want to own the outcome. You decide what a piece should achieve before you write it, and you want to be judged on pipeline, not page views.

  • You like a small team. You enjoy making the call, shipping fast, and moving between writing, video and design.

  • You’re drawn to security. You want to understand how threats work well enough to explain them clearly and accurately.

  • You think AI-first. You don’t just use AI to draft faster. You rethink how the work gets done, and you know where AI falls short.

What you’ll do

  • Content strategy and planning: Own the content strategy and the monthly and quarterly editorial plan. Tie it to business goals, set success measures before work starts, and stay aligned with demand generation.

  • Social, email and community: Plan and run our social, email and community programs, including their calendars and regular updates.

  • Content creation: Write and produce content in every format, from short to long and from written to video. That includes turning technical and threat research into content partners want to read.

  • Partner webinars: Run our partner webinar program end to end, from topics and speakers to promotion and follow-up.

  • Cross-team projects: Work with product, product marketing, design and other teams on product launches, campaigns and presentations.

  • Customer stories: Own our reviews and case study programs. Interview partners and turn their stories into content in a range of formats.

  • Online communities: Monitor and engage in communities and on review platforms such as Reddit and G2, and help shape how Todyl shows up there.

  • Expert contributors: Build simple, repeatable processes that help experts across Todyl contribute content.

  • Content library: Manage our content library so every team always has current, approved assets.

  • Search and AI discovery: Improve how our content performs in search and AI answer engines, and report on what drives results.

  • AI-driven workflows: Build AI into how content gets made, redesigning workflows rather than just speeding up drafts. Set clear standards for voice, accuracy and human review.

What you bring

Required

  • 3 to 5 years of B2B content marketing or writing experience, ideally in SaaS, cybersecurity or IT.

  • Strong writing and editing skills.

  • Experience owning content strategy and editorial calendars across multiple channels.

  • A track record of tying content to measurable business results.

  • Experience running a recurring content program, such as webinars, a newsletter or a case study program.

  • Comfort learning technical topics quickly and explaining them accurately.

  • Experience working with subject matter experts and producing customer stories.

  • Experience at a small company or startup, with little process and a lot of ownership.

  • Hands-on experience with SEO and content performance reporting.

  • Daily use of AI tools in your work, with a clear view of what they do well and where they fall short.

  • A portfolio that shows range, including at least one piece where you can name the business result.

  • Based in the US.

Nice to have

  • Experience marketing to MSPs or through a channel or partner model.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and products.

  • Experience with review programs or community engagement on platforms like G2 and Reddit.

  • Experience with HubSpot and a CMS such as Webflow.

  • Basic design or video editing skills.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000–$135,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
