Job summary

Heights Wellness Retreat is seeking a student intern to focus on filming and editing at the Retreat. This dedicated seat offers real, recurring experience in content creation, video editing, and community management.

You’ll go on-site to capture Retreat activity, edit clips into on-brand video assets for Franchise Owners and internal teams, and help keep content current and responsive to each Retreat’s needs. Applicants should be undergrad students in NC within driving distance of Holly Springs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a four-year college or university in North Carolina, within reasonable driving distance of Holly Springs.
• Basic to intermediate video editing skills and willingness to learn brand style.
• Reliable transportation to the Retreat location near Holly Springs.

Responsibilities

• Go on-site at the Retreat to capture footage of Retreat activity, Rituals, Journeys, and zone footage.
• Edit raw clips into finished, on-brand video assets for Franchise Owners and internal teams.
• Help keep video content current and responsive to what individual Retreats are asking for.
• Support community management by engaging on relevant content and responding to comments on our own posts.

Location: On-site at a Heights Wellness Retreat near Holly Springs, NC

Pay: $15.00/hour

Schedule: Approximately 10-15 hours/week

Reports To: Franchise Development and Marketing Specialist

About Heights Wellness Retreat

Heights Wellness Retreat (HWR) is a membership wellness franchise built on three pillars: Wellness Technology, Hands-On Care, and Social Club. Guests and members move through five zones, Rise, Well, the Ascension Circuit, Drift Lounge, and Oasis, combining science-backed wellness technology with skilled hands-on care. We're looking for someone who can help us capture that experience on camera.

The Role

We're building a new, hands-on role focused on filming and editing at the Retreat. This isn't an add-on to someone else's job, it's a dedicated seat for a student who wants real, recurring experience in content creation, video editing, and community management.

• Go on-site at the Retreat to capture footage of Retreat activity, Rituals, Journeys, and zone footage
• Edit raw clips into finished, on-brand video assets for our Franchise Owners and internal teams

• Support community management by engaging on relevant content and responding to comments on our own posts

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a four-year college or university in North Carolina, within reasonable driving distance of Holly Springs (e.g., UNC Chapel Hill or NC State University, or similar)
• Comfortable filming in a real, active space and working around a schedule that isn't always 9-to-5
• Basic to intermediate video editing skills (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar); willingness to learn our brand style
• Reliable transportation to the Retreat location near Holly Springs
• Strong communication skills and comfort working independently on a recurring schedule
• Interest in wellness, content marketing, or franchise brand-building is a plus

• Hours: ~10-15 hours/week, on-site, editing can be done remote
• Pay: $15.00/hour
• Duration: Ongoing, part-time; a great fit alongside a full course load
