Her Rhythms is a North Carolina women's wellness startup preparing to launch PeriPak in January 2027. We seek a creative, highly organized intern to help build our community and content system, with about 15 hours/week from Oct 2026–Feb 2027, largely remote with occasional in-person content days in the Triad.

Qualifications

• College junior, senior, or recent graduate in digital media, marketing, communications, PR, or related field.
• Strong familiarity with TikTok and Instagram culture to stop scrolling.
• Hands-on content experience from classes, orgs, or personal channels.
• Comfortable with Canva and CapCut; willing to learn Airtable and Metricool.

Responsibilities

• Execute 12-week pre-launch social media plan with founders.
• Create/edit short-form video, carousels, graphics, and stories for TikTok/Instagram/Facebook.
• Translate health education and experiences into engaging content.
• Track trends, sounds, hooks, and recommend adjustments.
• Coordinate UGC creators: assignments, submissions, feedback.
• Schedule/publish content and assist on in-person content days.
• Engage with comments and build community within brand voice guidelines.
• Track reach, saves, shares, follower growth, and waitlist sign-ups.
• Assist paid ads: repurpose organic/UGC posts; help run Meta/TikTok campaigns with founder approval.
• Maintain content library, creator tracker, and performance dashboard in Airtable; use AI to speed drafting and captions.

Her Rhythms is a North Carolina women's wellness startup preparing to launch PeriPak, a new product designed for women navigating the changing rhythms of midlife. We are building our community from the very first post through public launch in January 2027, and we're looking for a creative, highly organized intern to help us do it.

This is a paid internship of about 15 hours per week, flexible around your class schedule, running October 2026 through February 2027 with the possibility to continue. Most work is remote, with occasional in-person content days in the Triad.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Help execute our 12-week pre-launch social media plan, working directly with the founders
• Create and edit short-form video, carousels, graphics, and stories for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
• Translate women's health education, research, and everyday experiences into engaging content
• Track trends, sounds, and hooks, and tell us what we should be doing differently
• Coordinate UGC creators: assignments, submissions, and feedback
• Schedule and publish approved content, and help film on in-person content days
• Engage with comments and build community within our brand-voice and wellness-claims guidelines (we'll train you)
• Track reach, saves, shares, follower growth, and waitlist sign-ups
• Help with paid ads: turn top organic and UGC posts into ad creative and help run Meta and TikTok campaigns, with founder approval on every spend and claim
• Keep the content library, creator tracker, and performance dashboard current in Airtable, and use AI tools to speed up drafting, captions, and repurposing

WHO YOU ARE

• A college junior, senior, or recent graduate in digital media, marketing, communications, PR, or a related field
• Fluent in TikTok and Instagram culture; you know what makes someone stop scrolling
• Hands-on content experience from class projects, a campus organization, freelance work, or your own channels
• Comfortable in Canva and CapCut
• You work with AI as a creative partner: you use tools like ChatGPT or Claude to draft, repurpose, and brainstorm, and you know when to rewrite the output
• Willing to learn Airtable and a scheduling tool like Metricool (we'll teach you our system)
• Bonus: graphic design (Adobe Express, Illustrator, Photoshop), Meta or TikTok Ads Manager, health or wellness content, Shopify or Klaviyo

Above all, we want your input. You'll have a real voice in how we build the content system, not just a task list.
