Abacus Insights is building a content engine that turns SME knowledge into blogs, white papers, and thought leadership. As Content Manager, you own content strategy and end-to-end execution, coordinating with SMEs to deliver timely, accurate materials.
You'll lead the editorial calendar, develop SEO-optimized content, and edit for a sharp brand voice. You’ll collaborate with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Sales Enablement to ensure a unified message.
Abacus Insights is transforming how data works for health plans. Our mission is simple: make healthcare data usable, so the people responsible for care and cost decisions can act faster, with confidence.
We help health plans break down data silos to create a single, trusted data foundation. That foundation powers better decisions-so plans can improve outcomes, reduce waste, and deliver better experiences for members and providers alike. Backed by $100M from top investors, we're tackling big challenges in an industry that's ready for change. Our platform enables GenAI use cases by delivering clean, connected, and reliable healthcare data to support automation, prioritization, and decision workflows-and it's why we are leading the way.
Our innovation begins with people. We are bold, curious, and collaborative-because the best ideas come from working together. We embrace the thoughtful use of AI and automation to drive innovation and efficiency, and we look for individuals who are curious and adaptable-those excited to leverage emerging technologies to enhance how we work-while keeping human insight, connection, and our clients at the center of every decision.
Abacus Insights has deep expertise and a growing set of products, but that expertise doesn't yet show up in market. We're looking for a Content Manager to change that: to build the content engine that turns what our Subject Matter Experts know into the blogs, white papers, and thought leadership that get Abacus found, believed, and remembered.
As a key individual contributor, this role owns content strategy and execution end to end, from planning the editorial calendar to writing and editing the final piece. You'll run a repeatable production cadence with SMEs across the company, translating their expertise into original points of view, and you'll be the copy editor who makes sure everything Abacus puts into the world is sharp and consistent.
You'll also build the competitive intelligence that sharpens our messaging, and you'll work in close partnership with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing and Sales Enablement to keep content, campaigns, and sales materials speaking with one voice.
If you love turning technical expertise into compelling stories and want to build a content function from the ground up, this role is for you.
Develop and maintain an integrated editorial calendar, built around monthly content pillars aligned to priority solution areas, product launches, and business priorities.
Run the content production cadence: intake the SME's first draft, develop it into finished content, and deliver it in a timely manner.
Identify content gaps across the buyer journey and recommend new assets to support marketing objectives.
Manage content production timelines and coordinate deliverables across internal stakeholders.
Develop content that establishes Abacus's point of view on priority solution areas.
Turn content briefs into blog posts, articles, white papers, and SEO-optimized content.
Develop and manage additional content including website copy, eBooks, executive thought leadership, and video and webinar scripts.
Serve as copy editor across Marketing content projects, ensuring brand voice, clarity, grammar, and consistency.
Proof and suggest edits on materials such as battlecards, decks, and sell sheets.
Research competitor activity, market trends, and emerging industry topics.
Develop and maintain competitive intelligence briefs to inform messaging, positioning, and content direction.
Partner with Product Marketing to translate positioning, messaging, competitive insights, and product strategy into customer-facing content.
Collaborate with Growth Marketing on campaign content and editorial calendar alignment.
Partner with Sales Enablement on proofing and message consistency across sales-facing materials.
Interview subject matter experts and translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value.
Coordinate with Product Management to ensure product accuracy while maintaining customer-centric messaging.
Maintain editorial standards, brand voice, messaging consistency, and content quality.
Manage content review and approval workflows across Product, Marketing, Sales, and executive stakeholders.
Ensure content remains current by conducting regular audits and updating assets as products and markets evolve.
Maintain operational trackers, including content delivery and editorial calendar status.
Monitor content engagement and performance metrics.
Use analytics to identify optimization opportunities.
Recommend content improvements based on customer feedback, sales insights, competitive intelligence, and campaign performance.
