EchoStar, headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, seeks a Content Acquisition Lead for its Locals Programming team. You will negotiate and facilitate carriage agreements with local broadcasters nationwide, shaping the content strategy for DISH and Sling.

You will blend financial acumen with relationship management, building models, reviewing contracts, and communicating updates to executives. This is an on-site role based in Colorado.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2–5+ years of professional experience in broadcast/media, contract management, or data analysis.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (with advanced proficiency in Excel) and Google Applications (with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets).

Aufgaben

• Model financial scenarios and analyze market trends to support content licensing deals and strategy negotiations.
• Collaborate with legal, operations, finance, and accounting teams to ensure local programming operations adhere to retransmission consent agreements and FCC regulations.
• Lead and support negotiations with broadcasters and programmers to secure favorable terms for TV carriage agreements.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analyses on program viewership and financial metrics to drive executive decision-making and content partner discussions.
• Apply AI tools and analytical applications to streamline content licensing workflows and forecast viewership trends.
