Job summary

Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation is seeking an Instructional Assistant to provide instructional support under the supervision of building staff. The role supports elementary students and follows the IEP as written by the teacher of record.

The successful candidate will have 48 college credits (or an associate degree) and may be asked to complete the ParaPro Assessment before starting work; experience with elementary age children and collaboration with teachers are preferred.

REPORTS TO:Building Principal
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Hourly Non-Exempt
COMPENSATION:Based on Classified Pay Model
WORK CALENDAR: 183Day
STANDARD HOURS: 6.75 Hours/Day
PERF: CPCSC is a Non-PERF District

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional assistance as needed.
• Follow the IEP as written and developed by the teacher of record.
• Perform all duties as indicated by the supervising teachers and the administration.

Qualifications:

• The preferred candidate will be a licensed elementary teacher; at least 48 college credits; an associates degree or willing to take and achieve a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment prior to beginning work.
• The preferred candidate will have experience working with elementary aged children.
• The preferred candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively.
