Job summary

VelaFi is seeking a Content & Growth Lead to build and scale a global, data-driven content program across Latin America, the U.S., and Asia. You will directly craft or edit high-stakes content and shape editorial strategy to drive demand, pipeline, and measurable growth.

This hands-on role requires exceptional writing, strategic thinking, and the ability to own the full content lifecycle, from insights to distribution, while leveraging AI responsibly and ensuring compliance and quality.

About the Role

VelaFi is looking for a Content & Growth Lead to build and scale our global content and organic growth engine across Latin America, the U.S., and Asia. We need an accomplished B2B writer, editor, and strategist with the judgment to develop a clear point of view, make complex fintech topics credible and useful, and turn content into measurable demand and qualified pipeline.

AI and agents are core leverage—not a substitute for content craft or strategic judgment. You will improve workflows across research, creation, localization, repurposing, distribution, and analysis. But you remain the final editorial owner: critically review, fact-check, and materially improve every strategy, brief, and asset before it moves forward. The role should reduce the review burden on marketing leadership, not pass unfinished AI or agency work downstream.

This is a hands-on, outcome-driven role. You will own strategy through execution, personally write or substantially edit high-stakes content, and measure its impact on audience growth, conversion, and pipeline.

What You’ll Do

• Own VelaFi’s global content and organic growth strategy across Latin America, the U.S., and Asia.
• Build and continuously improve AI- and agent-assisted workflows for research, creation, editing, localization, repurposing, distribution, and analytics—with human editorial and compliance gates.
• Develop, write, and substantially edit executive thought leadership, original research, industry reports, campaigns, webinars, social content, and short-form video.
• Turn cross-border payments, stablecoins, FX, treasury, and financial infrastructure into clear, differentiated narratives; challenge generic ideas, weak reasoning, and unsupported claims.
• Drive distribution and growth through LinkedIn, SEO/AEO, AI search, community channels, and appropriate organic and paid campaigns.
• Connect content to demand and qualified pipeline; measure audience growth, engagement, lead quality, MQL/SQL, CPL, conversion, and pipeline contribution.
• Brief and substantially edit agency and contributor work, and partner with Sales, Product, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Communications, and creators to ensure commercial relevance, technical accuracy, and brand quality.

What We’re Looking For

• Content craft & judgment — exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and editorial rigor, shown in a strong portfolio of work you personally created or substantially improved. You can independently determine what is publishable and what needs to be rewritten or rejected.
• AI depth — hands‑on experience building, orchestrating, or optimizing AI‑ and agent‑powered content or growth workflows. You can demonstrate better speed, useful output, quality, or impact while explaining what stayed human‑led and how you checked accuracy and compliance.
• Growth — a clear understanding of how content drives distribution, audience development, demand, conversion, and qualified pipeline—not simply more content.
• Domain — strong understanding of fintech and payments; direct knowledge of cross-border payments, stablecoins, FX, treasury, or financial infrastructure is highly preferred.
• End-to-end ownership — the ability to independently lead the full cycle from insight and strategy through creation, substantive editing, distribution, measurement, and optimization. You are accountable for the final strategy and output.
• Experience — 5+ years in B2B content marketing, editorial strategy, organic growth, integrated marketing, or a related field, supported by evidence of personal craft and measurable results.
• Global orientation — fluent English and Spanish and the ability to create and adapt content for cross-border B2B audiences without diluting the positioning.

Nice to Have

• Direct experience in fintech, payments, stablecoins, digital assets, treasury, financial infrastructure, or another technically complex or regulated B2B category.
• Experience building or scaling a content or growth engine from the ground up.
• Experience in executive thought leadership, original research, and data-driven content.
• Hands‑on experience with GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, LinkedIn Analytics, and AI-search / AEO monitoring tools.
• Experience working across Latin America, the U.S., Asia, and multiple time zones; Portuguese or Mandarin proficiency.
