Job summary

Aquent in Seattle is seeking a Content Writer to craft customer-facing Copilot email communications that align with Microsoft brand and UX standards. You will work with the Copilot Growth team to drive adoption and improve onboarding, feature discovery, and user engagement.

You will own email content creation, formatting, and publishing, and you will explore AI prompts to generate HTML emails and coordinate localization hand-offs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years delivering customer-facing email content (features, value ads).
• Experience writing both long and short form content.
• Strong writing and editing with attention to detail.

Content Writer

In this role, you will create, manage, and publish customer-facing Copilot email communications that deliver a consistent, high-quality user experience and align with Microsoft brand, editorial, accessibility, and UX standards. Working closely with the Microsoft Copilot Growth team, you will develop content that drives Copilot adoption and usage, enhances onboarding and feature discovery, and improves user engagement, retention, and conversion.

Responsibilities include:

1. Copilot E-mail Content across a variety of communication types
   • a) Monthly, ongoing Copilot e-mail content for new features and value adds
   • b) Welcome e-mail adhoc updates and enhancements
2. Publishing Operations - Provide end-to-end publishing support to ensure email content is accurately formatted and aligned with messaging strategy using and fine-tuning related AI-enabled tools and processes
   • a) Author, check in, and format email content
   • b) Help co-manage forward FWLinks
   • c) Prep content for loc hand-off and update mails with loc'ed content
   • d) Validate mails and make necessary corrections prior to publishing
3. Knowledge and AI prompt/workflow transfer of the HTML Email Maker-end-to-end generation of full email
   • a) Generate HTML file with prompting-content-wise
   • b) Generate Iris-compatible HTML file
   • c) Explore use of JSON file and related prompt to convert to CSV for localization hand-off

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience delivering product customer-facing e-mail content communications (Features, Value-ads, etc)
• Experience writing long and short form content
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
