Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Five years of professional writing, editing, content marketing, or digital marketing experience.
• At least three years of direct people-management experience.
• Experience supervising employees with coaching, feedback, accountability, and development responsibilities.
• Ability to provide direct feedback and handle difficult conversations professionally.
• Experience leading through changes in technology, workflows, or priorities.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, grammar, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of SEO content development and on-page optimization.
• Critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Experience developing or improving editorial standards, workflows, or quality-control processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an engaged, dependable, and accountable content team.
• Improve the quality, accuracy, and consistency of client content.
• Ensure deadlines and productivity expectations are consistently met.
• Reduce recurring errors through stronger processes, training, and follow-up.
• Develop employees and strengthen their writing, editing, and professional judgment.
• Collaborate effectively with Content Operations Strategists and other departments.
• Produce strong individual writing and editing work when department needs require hands-on support.
