Job summary

Airtraffic seeks a Content Creator, Video to take short-form projects from concept through delivery. You will write scripts, shoot footage, and direct talent for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, with work that blends client content and internal projects.

You’ll handle shot lists, gear, builds, and on-set direction, often solo or with one teammate, ensuring fast, authentic performances and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of producing UGC-style social video (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
• Ability to own a shoot from setup to wrap with minimal crew.
• Experience directing on-camera talent for natural performances.

Airtraffic is a video production company with clients in the video game industry. We are seeking a Content Creator, Video to take short-form video projects from concept through delivery: writing the scripts, shooting the footage, and directing the talent. The work is short, simple, funny, trendy UGC-style video built for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Most of it is creative content for our clients, with some internal content mixed in as well.

The Work:

• Direct and film short-form video content that feels native to social platforms
• Self-manage preproductions: shot lists, gear list, props, wardrobe
• Design and build small sets and practical props
• Shoot it: camera, lighting, and audio, often working solo or with one team member
• Direct on-camera talent, including non-actors, and get natural performances quickly
• Assist with concept development and scriptwriting tasks
• Keep production gear maintained and organized
• Hold a consistent creative standard across a high volume of concurrent projects

You:

• Have expert-level knowledge of producing UGC-style social video (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
• Understand what stops a scroll, what converts, what reads as authentic versus an ad
• Comfortable owning a shoot from setup to wrap with or without additional crew
• Know your way around camera, lighting, and audio gear, and can troubleshoot on the fly
• Understand timing and gear requirements for small-scale shoots
• Comfortable shooting on anything from an iPhone to an FX9
• Can assemble basic sets using existing furniture and decor
• Direct talent in a way that gets natural, unpolished performances rather than stiff or scripted ones
• Can communicate professionally with contractors, clients, and talent, matching your tone to the context
• Love video games, including (and especially) mobile games
• Have experience using Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, or similar business tools
