Job Overview

We are seeking a charismatic and creative Content Creator to develop engaging video content focused on business studies, including accounting and finance. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for someone who thrives in front of the camera and is passionate about making complex topics accessible and engaging.

Team and Mission

The Pearson+ Content Team aims to build the world's most helpful video courses, assisting millions of students to succeed. You will lead the development of comprehensive video courses for business subjects, acting as the main instructor.

Responsibilities

1. Co-lead the development of video courses in business studies, accounting, finance, etc.
2. Plan curricula and individual lessons.
3. Write lesson worksheets and problems, and record lessons.
4. Set and achieve team goals at various intervals.
5. Provide and receive feedback to improve work products.
6. Participate in hiring, training, and process improvements.
7. Join regular meetings between 9 am-5 pm EST for planning and review.
8. Perform other reasonable duties as required.

Requirements

• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
• High standards for work quality and attention to detail.
• Effective feedback exchange skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Dependability in managing workload.
• Bachelor’s degree in business studies or equivalent experience.
• Ability to use a quiet home recording space (equipment provided by Pearson).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring college students in relevant fields within the past three years.
• Experience developing curricula or assessments, or in educational publishing.
• Experience creating educational videos.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field, preferably in business, accounting, or finance.
• Experience with video recording equipment and software or willingness to learn.
• Engagement with students on social media is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

Salary is influenced by skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program.
