Lyzr AI is seeking a part-time content creator in NYC/Jersey City with a hybrid schedule. You’ll craft memes and trend-based content, shoot at events, and edit videos for enterprise audiences. You’ll also design visuals and post captions that align with Lyzr’s aesthetic.

The role emphasizes same-day turnaround, strong social instincts, and ability to work remotely for other tasks. Grad students are encouraged to apply.

Location : NYC (Hybrid) · 20 hrs/week

Lyzr builds AI agents for big enterprises, including banks, insurers, and companies with very serious LinkedIn headshots. Our events team throws executive dinners, hackathons, conference takeovers, and side events across NYC, Europe, and the Middle East.

The events are great. Our content should look just as good. That's where you come in.

Who we're looking for

You're chronically online, in the most productive way. You saw the trend before it hit your FYP, you already know how you'd remix it, and you'd have it edited, captioned, and posted before your coffee gets cold.

You love making content, and you love editing it even more. You get things done the same day, not "circling back next week."

Grad students and recent grads are especially encouraged to apply. This role fits well around a class schedule.

What you'll actually be doing

Memes and Trends

• Doom scroll professionally across IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and Reddit.
• Turn trends into memes and reels that make enterprise AI funny and relatable.
• Pitch new content ideas weekly, and help us build formats and series that are recognizably ours.

event content

• Shoot photos, short-form video, BTS, and quick interviews at our events, with free food included.
• Turn every event into a content dump within 24–48 hours: recap reels, carousels, speaker clips, quote cards, and highlights.
• Build hype before events with teasers, countdowns, and speaker drops.
• Catch the candid moments that give people FOMO

Making it pretty

• Bring new ideas for content that is visually beautiful, aesthetic, and on-brand.
• Keep Lyzr's visual vibe consistent everywhere.
• Design graphics and templates in Canva or Figma.
• Keep our photo, video, and brand asset library organized.

Words and stuff

• Write hooks that stop the scroll and captions that don't sound like they came from a corporate press release.
• Draft posts for the Lyzr page and our leaders' LinkedIn accounts.
• Track what's working, tell us, and do more of it.

You're our person if you

• Are super active on socials and actually understand the internet.
• Are hyperactive about getting things done, with same-day turnaround as your default.
• Genuinely love creating and editing content.
• Have taste, so everything you make looks good.
• Can match a brand's style and still make it feel fresh.
• Can edit in CapCut, Premiere, or similar, plus Canva or Figma.
• Shoot well on your phone and understand lighting, framing, and audio.
• Notice the typo, the crooked logo, or the bad crop before anyone else does.
• Won't freeze up when you need to film a CEO.

Extra credit

• You run a meme page or have your own following.
• You can do motion graphics or After Effects.
• You've made content for a tech or startup brand.
• You're curious about AI.
