Job summary

Matic is building home robots to give people time and energy back. Our first product, a Wall-E-esque floor cleaning robot, uses real-time 3D mapping and on-device neural networks.

We’re seeking a Content Creator to bring Matic’s story to life through compelling video and photography, shaping our creative voice with immediate impact. You will shoot social-first content, capture product and lifestyle imagery, and own projects end-to-end from capture to final edit using After Effects and Premiere

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on video content creation and editing.
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro and After Effects (demonstrated fluency across multiple projects).
• Strong short-form, vertical video storytelling and pacing.
• Portfolio required showcasing social-first video and photography contributions.
• Ability to direct talent, conduct interviews, and guide on-camera performances.
• Familiarity with AI video production workflows and tools.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit social-first video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, paid social, and other digital channels.
• Turn briefs, references, rough ideas, and existing footage into polished content.
• Capture clean product, lifestyle, and BTS photography.
• Own projects from capture through final edit, including lighting, audio, color, sound design, motion graphics, and typography.
• Create variations for paid media testing and rapid learning.
• Use After Effects to add motion, typography, graphics, and visual treatments.
• Spot ideas in existing footage and bring them to life quickly with minimal approvals.
• Contribute creative ideas and pitches to improve the work.

We’re looking for a Content Creator to bring Matic’s story to life through compelling video and photography, with room to shape our creative voice and make an immediate impact.

What You Will Do

• Shoot and edit social-first video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, paid social, and other digital channels.
• Turn creative briefs, references, rough ideas, and existing footage into polished finished content.
• Capture clean, professional product, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes photography.
• Own projects from capture through final edit, including lighting, audio, color, sound design, motion graphics, and typography.
• Create multiple variations and iterations for paid media testing and rapid learning.
• Use After Effects to add thoughtful motion, typography, graphics, and visual treatments.
• Spot ideas in existing footage or cultural moments and bring them to life quickly—without waiting for approvals.
• Contribute creative ideas. We want a partner who brings references, pitches angles, and makes the work better.

What You Bring

• Strong editing fundamentals: excellent short-form, vertical video editing with strong pacing and visual storytelling.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience creating and editing video content (school projects, personal work, freelance gigs, internships—we don’t care where it comes from, your portfolio does the talking).
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (demonstrated fluency across multiple projects).
• Motion graphics experience: demonstrated ability to animate type, create graphics, and compose visual treatments in After Effects.
• Shooting and composition skills: clean product, lifestyle, and BTS photography with strong framing.
• Comfort working with and directing talent: ability to conduct interviews, guide people on camera, and capture authentic talking heads and performance-based content.
• Sound design and color correction fundamentals.
• Familiarity with AI video production workflows: comfortable experimenting with AI tools for asset creation, editing assistance, and visual storytelling.
• A portfolio is required: submit a portfolio featuring social-first video and photography, with a brief description of your contribution to each project.
• Fast execution: ability to move from idea to finished piece without sacrificing taste.
• Collaborative mindset: you can take feedback, iterate, and create without needing constant direction.

Nice to Have

• Studio or product photography experience.
• Lighting fundamentals beyond basic setups.
• Understanding of performance creative and paid social metrics.
• Familiarity with Figma.
• YouTube editing or longer-form storytelling experience.
• Interest in consumer tech, hardware, or product-driven companies.

Compensation

Base $96,000 — $120,000

Actual Compensation will depend on skills, experience and qualifications. Base Salary is one part of the total compensation package. The role is also eligible for equity through the company’s discretionary equity program, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage access to a 401(k) plan.
