Job summary

MATIC in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a Content Creator to bring our home-robotics story to life through video and photography, shaping our creative voice with an immediate impact on how the world sees our first product, a Wall-E-like floor cleaning robot.

You will shoot and edit social-first videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and capture product and lifestyle photography, owning projects from capture to final edits, including lighting, audio, color, and motion graphics.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience creating and editing video content.
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Strong editing fundamentals with short-form video.
Portfolio is required with social-first video and photography.
Ability to direct talent on camera and interviews.
Fast execution while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

Shoot and edit social-first video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, paid social, and other digital channels.
Turn creative briefs, references, rough ideas, and existing footage into polished finished content.
Capture clean, professional product, lifestyle, and BTS photography.
Own projects from capture through final edit, including lighting, audio, color, sound design, motion graphics, and typography.
Create multiple variations for paid media testing and rapid learning.
Use After Effects to add thoughtful motion, typography, graphics, and visual treatments.
Spot ideas in existing footage or cultural moments and bring them to life quickly—without waiting for approvals.
Contribute creative ideas. We want a partner who brings references, pitches angles, and makes the work better.
