Job summary

SERVPRO of Quincy and Hannibal is seeking a hands-on Contents Team member to carefully pack client property, detail-clean items, and inventory contents after water, fire, or other damage. You will work closely with restoration crews to safeguard belongings and support recovery efforts.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to work on-call shifts including evenings and weekends, and prior restoration or construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous restoration or construction experience preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carefully pack up client's personal property, detail clean contents, and inventory items.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations (water, fire, etc.).
• Assist and perform other restoration activities as needed (water extraction, set-up of equipment, demolition).
• Load and inventory work vehicles with tools and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards and job-site needs to supervisors; keep clients informed.

Key Responsibilities

• The main job duties for this position are to carefully pack up client's personal property, detail clean contents, and inventory the itemsYou will be responsible for contets Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• You will be required to assist and performing other restoration activities, as needed, including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus, but not required

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
