Overview

This Content Author role is responsible for supporting key areas across a technology organization’s digital experience, including primary Web Stack, Buyflow, Customer Portal, and (eventually) Mobile applications. This role will be responsible for creating, managing, and structuring content, utilizing the Contentful CMS platform. This role requires Spanish language proficiency. This is a 6-12 month consulting engagement and can be remote. Qualified candidates must live in the United States and be available to work on a 1099 contract basis. This role doesn’t support visa sponsorship or office locations outside the continental US.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing effective content models within Contentful.
  • Authoring, editing, and publishing high-quality, accurate content.
  • Collaborating closely with our Brand and Engineering teams to ensure content meets design specifications, technical requirements, and overall strategic objectives.
  • Ensuring content consistency and adherence to our brand guidelines.
  • Assisting our team with Spanish language translation review and basic content adaptation/localization.

Requirements

  • Proven, hands-on experience authoring and managing content directly within the Contentful CMS platform with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience. Preferably more.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or similar degree
  • Strong practical experience with content modeling and management principles, including execution in Contentful CMS.
  • Exceptional English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish - expertise to accurately review translations and perform basic content localization tasks.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, particularly regarding content quality, structural integrity, and accuracy.
  • Ability to work within a client-facing environment, providing exceptional content delivery solutions and the ability to make recommendations as needed requiring a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work with many different cross-functional teams and departments.
  • Must be able to deliver immediate content-focused solutions and operations requiring little ramp-up time.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and strong sense of professionalism in the workplace.

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a consulting engagement, with an hourly range of $70-85/hr. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
