Overview

This Content Author role is responsible for supporting key areas across a technology organization's digital experience, including the primary Web Stack, Buyflow, Customer Portal, and (eventually) Mobile applications. This role will be responsible for creating, managing, and structuring content, utilizing the Contentful CMS platform. This role requires Spanish language proficiency—both in speaking and reading Spanish. This is a 6-12 month remote consulting engagement. Qualified candidates must reside in the United States and be available to work on a 1099 contract basis. This role does not support visa sponsorship or office locations outside the continental US.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement effective content models within Contentful.
2. Author, edit, and publish high-quality, accurate content.
3. Collaborate closely with Brand and Engineering teams to ensure content meets design specifications, technical requirements, and strategic objectives.
4. Ensure content consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
5. Assist with Spanish language translation review and basic content localization.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing content directly within Contentful CMS, with 3-5 years of hands-on experience.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong practical knowledge of content modeling and management principles, including execution in Contentful.
• Proficiency in Spanish, capable of reviewing translations and performing basic localization.
• Exceptional English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Attention to detail regarding content quality, structure, and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a client-facing environment, providing content solutions and recommendations.
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to deliver immediate content-focused solutions with minimal ramp-up time.
• Adaptability, professionalism, and flexibility in the workplace.

Compensation

For Colorado-based hires, a salary range of $70-85/hr is provided, considering skills, experience, and certifications. This is a consulting role, with compensation influenced by experience, education, location, and qualifications.
