Qualifications

• MFA in Dance by appointment date.
• At least two years teaching dance technique at the university level.
• Evidence of active contemporary dance research/creative practice as performer, choreographer, and/or collaborative dance-maker.
• Preferred: five years of university teaching; versatility in other movement practices; expertise in kinesiology, improvisation, and/or conditioning for dancers.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate contemporary technique and choreography/composition.
• Mentor student work.
• Contribute to curriculum and program service.
• Sustain an active creative/research agenda.
