Job summary

CPG is seeking a Containment Installer I to support installing hot and cold aisle containment systems at client sites, handling materials from receiving dock to working area, and training on installation processes.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, use of hand tools, and a high school diploma. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, wear safety gear, and travel frequently in a remote 3/1 rotation.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical or construction skills and safe use of hand/power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Able to lift, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods; US citizenship required.
• Previous experience in construction or data center infrastructure installation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware.
• Use basic hand tools to assemble and secure components.
• Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas.
• Inspect and test completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule.
• Report material needs, progress updates, and any installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.
