Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and sort floor loaded containers
• Package product for movement throughout warehouse
• Read and comprehend written instructions and packing lists
• Assists QA with pallet transfers and loading and unloading storage trailers.
• Assists QA with unloading returns.
• Responsible for ensuring pallets are available for unloading
• Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.
• Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized per 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift, reach, and twist repetitively
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the course of the day
• Must have good physical stamina and ability to handle hot/cold weather
• Must speak English fluently and read basic instructions in English.
• Must have basic math and computer skills.
• Must have a sense of urgency.
• Must be a team player, able to work well with others.
• Must be flexible with start and end times and work overtime when required

Compensation

• This is a Union Position and pays $19.00/HR

Eligible for Overtime pay after working 8 hours a day Monday-Friday and time and a half for all hours worked on Saturdays.
