The role requires logging time and materials in an electronic repair order system and holding a valid driver’s license.

You will work with welding equipment provided by the company, adhere to health and safety standards as a top priority, and pursue opportunities for growth through training and development.

Qualifikationen

• Welding experience in a fabrication/repair shop environment.
• Proficient in MIG and Stick welding.
• Experience with structural welding tests or certifications is an asset.
• Ability to read weld symbols and specifications is a plus.
• Comfortable wearing respirator and maintaining a clean shaven appearance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Aufgaben

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority in all work activities.
• Perform compliance and safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Weld, cut, grind, and perform metal fabrication and repairs on containers.
• Maintain shop housekeeping and operate welding systems and tools.
• Prepare surfaces prior to painting and apply coatings.
• Fabricate and weld on roll-off containers as required.
• Log time and materials into the electronic repair order system.
• Keep company vehicle clean and hazard-free.
