Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a container repair technician for a local storage container company in Louisville, KY. This is a 3-month contract with hours Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm, paid at $19 per hour.

The role involves measuring with a tape measure, building and repairing containers on a production line, light welding, operating a forklift after training, and maintaining repair paperwork while ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of construction, assembly, steel fabrication, or related experience.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for safety instructions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to work safely in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Use basic computer skills to look up work instructions.
• Train new employees on container assembly and repairs.
• Repair damaged containers with limited supervision.
• Perform light welding and simple cutting.
• Build and repair containers on a production line.
• Operate a forklift after training.
• Move materials with a pallet jack or hand cart.
• Complete repair paperwork and track parts used.
• Follow OSHA and safety rules.
• Stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work independently and meet production goals.
