Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Container Delivery & Repair Tech in Omro, WI for full-time work. Responsibilities include repairing, rebuilding, installing and maintaining compactors and related equipment, with an emphasis on safety and cost tracking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical diploma desired.
• Prior experience in the repair of compactors and equipment.
• Possess valid CDL within six months of employment.
• Knowledge of basic electrical apparatus, particularly around 3-phase high voltage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compactor rebuilds, repairs, and track costs for parts and labor.
• Perform repairs, installation, and minor welding as needed.
• Assist branch with compactor repair or installation problems.
• Maintain PM program to ensure equipment and service quality; adjust pressure and cycle times.
• Stock inventory of standard parts per designated stocking levels.
• Comply with laws, policies and directives; maintain tools and records.
• Stay updated through manuals and training seminars; perform other duties as required.
