Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is seeking a maintenance/repair associate to wash, repair and paint containers, move them within the yard, and handle loading/unloading tasks. The role includes monitoring inventory and performing minor repairs as directed.

This safety-sensitive position requires adherence to safety rules, with pre-employment screening and ongoing testing. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K with match, and more.

Qualifications

• Reads work order or receives instructions from supervisor regarding minor painting and/or completing minor repairs on assigned containers.
• Performs minor container repairs, such as axle repair/replacement.
• Washes container interior or exteriors as needed.
• Moves containers in the yard.
• Loads and unloads both new and used containers from trucks.
• Performs minor painting duties.
• Responsible for monitoring the site's container inventory.
• Performs general duties and responsibilities as required.
