Job summary

SSA Careers is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to track cargo container inventory, oversee yard counts, and maintain accurate records. You will run dray reports, update the Mainsail System, and prepare detailed reports for terminal management.

Strong data-entry skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office are essential. This role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, outdoor conditions, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Run dray reports and reconcile containers in yards daily.
• Physically count containers across yards and update counts.
• Update Mainsail System with container locations per yard.
• Generate and share inventory reports with terminal management.
• Enter ticketing data into Excel and derive ETA per container.
• Assist customer service during inventory downtime and answer inquiries.
• Process flips and verify trucker information and payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
