Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business, IT, and facility requirements.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions, workshops, and site assessments.
• Advise customers on modular/containerized data center strategies and roadmaps.
• Present solutions to executives, IT and facilities teams, and other stakeholders.
• Design end-to-end modular/containerized data center solutions (power, cooling, network, security).
• Develop reference architectures and BOMs, ensuring alignment with standards.

Full Time Container Data Center Pre-Sales Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a Container Data Center Pre-Sales Architect to serve as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle for modular and containerized data center solutions.

In this customer-facing role, you will collaborate with sales, engineering, product management, and customers to design scalable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective modular data center solutions. You will translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive solution architectures while providing technical leadership during proposals, bids, and customer engagements.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in data center infrastructure, solution architecture, and technical pre-sales, along with strong communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business, IT, and facility requirements.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions, workshops, and site assessments.
• Advise customers on modular and containerized data center strategies, deployment models, and technology roadmaps.
• Present technical solutions to executive leadership, IT teams, facilities teams, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Design end-to-end modular and containerized data center solutions, including:
  • IT infrastructure
  • Power systems
  • Cooling systems
  • Fire suppression systems
  • Monitoring and management systems
  • Physical security systems
  • Network connectivity
• Develop conceptual designs and reference architectures.
• Ensure solutions comply with customer specifications and applicable industry standards.

Technical Sales Support

• Partner with account managers and sales teams throughout the sales process.
• Prepare technical proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and tender responses.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs), solution diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and project delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility.
• Provide market and customer feedback to product management to support future product development.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with operational and delivery capabilities.

Industry & Market Expertise

• Stay current on emerging technologies and trends, including:
  • Edge computing
  • AI and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure
  • Modular and containerized data centers
  • Liquid cooling technologies
  • Sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives
• Monitor competitive offerings and evolving market requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 5–10+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, solution architecture, technical consulting, or technical pre-sales.
• Experience designing or supporting modular and containerized data center solutions.
• Experience working with enterprise, cloud, telecommunications, or hyperscale customers.
